If you are looking for something that gives you nostalgic feels, makes you want to curl up in a corner with a book and a cup of tea, or sparks a hint of recognition and brings joy, then you're in the right place!
I love to create things that have a vintage vibe; pretty things that can be gifted to a loved one or kept as a treat and passed down as a beloved family heirloom.
I do hope you find something to love in my shop, thank you for visiting and if you have any questions about my makes, please message me!
The next craft fair I will be attending with 'A Little Pot of Yarn' crochet creations by Rachel, is on Sunday May 10th in Hedon for the Create and Taste event.

I once saw a picture of a handbag made with records, and so, I tried various ways to create one as I wanted to surprise my mum for her birthday. I succeeded, but thought there might be a better way to combine all the elements together, which didn't involve melting the LP at a precise angle. It took a lot of experimentation before I was happy that I'd perfected it!
The records used for my bags are unloved/unplayable for one reason or another so may show marks or warping.
L.P's need protecting, don't leave next to a hot radiator for prolonged periods of time, or near a frosty window as vinyl can warp or become brittle in these conditions. Wipe clean with a soft dry or damp cloth or a wet wipe, dry carefully afterwards. Don't let it get too wet as water can soak into the cards and glues used making the things in your bag soggy, or compromise the structure of the bag. If you get caught in a rain storm, pop it under your arm or shelter it with an umbrella.

Full description

This unique handbag is one of my early experimental makes - hence the low price.

This bag is ideal for a night on the town or as a statement piece for an alternative wedding or joining ceremony. Or, you could use it as your everyday handbag and be the envy of all your friends!

Despite it's little quirks, this is a cool looking and practical bag! It has a wide opening zip top with side flap inserts so your little bits and bobs stay secure and is big enough for all your important night-out accessories being 12" x 4" and 5" deep at the deepest point.

Decorated with skull and cross bones fabric and ribbon. The fabric on the record and some of the polka dots of the oilcloth base have been decorated by coloured in using red Sharpie fine-point permanent marker. (Although supposed to be permanent, be cautious against lighter fabrics.)

The handle is a skull and letter print ribbon, and plain red ribbon has been used for the side trim. The pocket inside features a pin-up girl (although this is un-usable as I stitched it on too tight!)

The main body of the bag is black poly-cotton fabric and an unloved record (no useable records were harmed in the making of this bag!)

Please, see the photos to judge if this unique bag is cool enough for you and if you have any questions at all about this item, please ask.

Inspired by a bag I once saw online I practiced many ways before finding a way I could make them myself. First creating for my mum and myself before making some to share the love!

Not a toy. Stitched on a 1950s Singer sewing machine, glues used - Crafter's Pick non-toxic glues.
