I once saw a picture of a handbag made with records, and so, I tried various ways to create my own as I wanted to make one for my mums birthday. I succeeded, but thought there might be a better way to combine all the elements together, which didn't involve melting the LP at a precise angle! I found a way and loved it so much I made my mum another one and made some to sell too!
The records used for my bags are unloved or unplayable for one reason or another so may show marks or warping.
L.P's need protecting, don't leave next to a hot radiator for prolonged periods of time, or near a frosty window as vinyl can warp or become brittle in these conditions. Wipe clean with a soft dry or damp cloth or a wet wipe, dry carefully afterwards. Try not to get it too wet as water could soak into the cards and glues used and make the things in your bag soggy, or compromise the structure of the bag. If you get caught in a rain storm, pop it under your arm or shelter it with an umbrella.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

This record handbag is the perfect accessory to accentuate your vintage style!
A distinctive retro feel has been created by using pink polka-dot fabric for the body of the bag and matt-black polka-dot oilcloth for the base. A decoration of pink buttons, white trim and white handles complete the look.
The perfect size for all your important bits and pieces; the zip top opens wide for easy access, and, with some ingenious side flaps, those little bits and bobs won't fall out!
Approximately; 12" long, 4" wide, 5" deep - at the centre point.
14" (total length) soft strap handles are the ideal length for carrying over your arm or by hand.
This Handbag was created using: an old, unloved L.P and new fabrics. It has been stitched together carefully using a wonderful, 1950s Singer sewing machine and the glues used for non-stitchy parts are crafter's pick, non-toxic glues. Some parts have been handstitched.
To keep the base sturdy I have used card and a plastic handbag insert.
The care information is on a scroll inside your new bag, that you can keep and refer to when needed.
The buttons have been glued on carefully, if picked at they are liable to come off. Keep out of reach of children, check periodically to ensure all buttons are still accounted for. The key-ring includes buttons, some of which have been glued together Keep out of reach of young children. Buttons are a choking hazard. This is not a toy.
