I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £215.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £180.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 5/04/23.

I was inspired to make beaded pens by tutorials from Katie Dean at Bead Flowers. However this beaded design is my own.

Full description
This elegant ballpoint pen would make a special present for either him or her. Slender silver stripes have been beaded into a shiny black background. The retractable ballpoint insert is accessible by twisting the top portion of the pen and can be replaced with a new refill when the ink eventually runs dry.
I have made the beaded bands for this pen using a process called beadweaving, by which tiny Miyuki Delica beads are sewn together around the piece.
The pen is 13 cms (5.1 ins) long and approximately 1cm (0.4 ins) in diameter.
Your pen will be posted to you with a small black velveteen drawstring pouch for storage.
WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £4.00 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.
