Family recipies handed down the generations. Welsh Cakes are sweet almost scone-like cakes cooked flat on a griddle, traditionally studded with raisins but I prefer mine plain. Bara Brith is a rich fruit cake, where the fruit is soaked overnight in liquid tea (no milk!) before mixing with the other cake ingredients.
Plus the Welsh flag colours of course....

A mini version of my Welsh High Tea inspired slow stitching bundle, these beautiful vintage and reclaimed fabrics and trims are ideal for a slow stitching or textile art project.
The A5 box has over 30 vintage or salvaged fabric and haberdashery remnants - carefully selected from my own collection or sourced from local vintage shops and individual sellers. Due to their age, some pieces may have small marks or tears.
Each box varies includes pieces of
