Full description
Fused glass freestanding curved panel featuring a pebble beach complete with a variety of tall grasses, a glorious blue sea and a tranquil summer sky.
The panel has been created using two layers of glass to give a sense of depth, and decorated with coloured art glass powders and glass stringers to build up the scene. Several kiln firings were required to achieve the effect, including a final firing over a mould to give the curved shape. The foreground pebbles and grasses are softly textured to give a pleasing tactile quality.
A lovely gift idea, or why not just treat yourself.
The panel measures 15.5cm tall and 17cm across the curve.
