Full description
Fused glass panel featuring a rocky approach tufted with coloured sea-grass, leading down to a white sand beach, a glorious blue sea and a tranquil summer sky.
The panel has been created using two layers of glass to give a sense of depth, and decorated with coloured art glass powders and glass stringers to build up the scene. The sea is capped with a sheet of iridescent glass to give a subtle sheen. Several kiln firings were required to achieve the effect. The foreground seaspray and grasses are softly textured to give a pleasing tactile quality.
A lovely gift idea, or why not just treat yourself.
The panel measures 13.5cm x 7.5cm and is supplied with a clear acrylic stand, ready for displaying.
