My collection started as a child with an old button box and some vintage embroidery threads given to me by my late grandmother. Over the years I have collected many vintage and retro items (note I only cut into pieces that are too damaged or marked to be used in their original form) as well as a whole sewing room full of bits and pieces.
I decided I would use some of this collection to create curated boxes for the newly re-discovered art of slow stitching. Get yourself a cup of tea, and relax with a needle and thread.

Full description
A mini version of my vintage themed slow sewing kit - ideal if you want to try this relaxing craft for the first time or are looking for a special gift for a crafty friend. Stuffed to the brim, this mini-box has pieces of the same vintage and reclaimed fabrics my larger themed kits, and is ideal for beginners who want a smaller project.
Slow sewing has no rules and doesn't require perfect stitches or neat edges, so just have a go. This craft is all about your own creativity so there are no instructions in the kit, but I will add a note with easy ideas and online links to get you started.
