Upon retiring from a long and happy career as a physiotherapist, I embarked upon an applied arts degree. This led me to ceramics, where I have discovered a passion for combining glazed earthenware, lightbox drawings and gold leaf to create completely unique decorative pieces.
Each and every piece I make is one of a kind.
Many of my collections take inspiration from my favourite places. Found on the Beach is inspired by Scarborough, on the North Yorkshire coast, and my many walks on the beaches there.

This unique, decorative bucket is part of the Found on the Beach series from award-winning ceramicist, Frances Lee.
The Found on the Beach series features decorative ceramic ornaments made with white earthenware slip, finished in a transparent glaze.
Handmade, kiln fired and decorated with hand-drawn hand drawn fine pen and water colour images made into transfers, this decorative piece is one of a kind.
