I love free-motion machine embroidery. It's drawing and painting with threads. And I like to branch out and use the technique with different media and to make something practical. Each card I make in this way is a small work of art with a personal message. I like to imagine the expression on the recipient's face when they open one of my cards and see something rather different from the usual, though beautiful but mass produced, cards they normally receive.
