Full description

A lovely little brooch in stunning teals, greens and cream. Completely hand sewn from wool felt with an appliqued floral cotton print, and embroidered with blanket stitch, lazy daisy flowers and french knots.

I have also added some vintage lace and a little button from my old button tin that matches the embroidered flowers, and hand sewn a metal clasp to the back. Colour of enbroidered flower and button vary.

Appoximately 3cm wide by 5 cm tall

Treat yourself, or give as a gift. Perfect for a birthday or for Mothers Day.

The teal felt is 100% wool and handmade in Nepal - I buy it from a company that supports local artisans. It is nice and thick - ranging from 3mm to 5mm. The backing felt is also 100% wool and is the same that I use for my toy makes so has been tested to EN71 standards.

This is one of my charity makes, and a donation of £1 will be made to Epilepsy Wales in memory of my sister for each brooch sold.

Designed by Sharon Lloyd in my attic sewing room in South Wales
