Hello and Welcome to my little Folksy shop! I do hope you like what you see!
A lot of my artworks, I've created as a pair but you can buy them separately.
Please message me if you can't quite find what you're looking for, or if you'd like something in a different colour or size, I'm more than happy to take requests.
Postage in the UK is free and I'll post 2nd class. For everywhere else there is a £3.50 charge.
I like to recycle whenever I can, so the bubble wrap, cardboard envelopes and packaging may have been used previously, so may not always look perfect!
To frame or not to frame? At the moment I don't provide frames but I'm looking into this. I'm not sure if customers prefer the artwork to be framed or buy their own frame/s? My artwork has been made to fit into frames that can be bought in popular retails shops. Again please message me if you would like to discuss anything further.

The design of my Handstitched Geometric Squares and Rectangles, I actually made years ago, originally for greeting cards but this past year when I’ve been getting ideas together for my shop, I decided they should be framed instead as they make really pretty little pictures! I’ve always been drawn to geometric paintings and art, but I also love textiles and I was just inspired one day to put the two ideas together & came up with these designs - My Handstitched Geometrics Squares & Rectangles Collection - Shiny Naturals, Pretty Patterns & Colourful Combinations. There is an array of different colours to choose from to match any interior colour scheme! A lovely treat for yourself or as a present! I wanted to keep the art pieces small so that they could easily fit into anyone’s home.

Full description
My Colourful Combinations Squares & Rectangles are original handmade mixed media abstract artworks from my Geometrics Collection. For this art picture, I've used different types of paper, textured, handmade, tissue in grey & pink. I've handstitched over the top to create beautifully simple but really quite interesting little art pieces. The thread compliments the colour combination. The stiches aren’t meant to be perfect, that's the beauty of the pieces being handmade, they soften the structure of the shapes. The needle markings on the paper add another little bit of interest. Mounted on brown wrapping paper textured with white gouache & acrylic paint & white watercolour paper. Some of the paper’s edges have been torn to emphasize the paper texture.
The art pieces have been made as a set but can be bought individually.

The watercolour paper measures 10cm width by 15cm height. The artwork is ready to be framed to fit into a 4 inch (10cm) by 6 inch (15cm) frame without a mount. The frames in the product photos are used for display purposes only. I’ve photographed the art pieces in different frames to give you an idea of how they will look in your home. Currently I don’t provide frames but I’m looking into this.
