I'm currently accepting commissions for original illustration, art or design for your home or business this autumn.
If you are looking for a special and unique gift, or perhaps just a piece of art that means something to you, you can commission me to create an original illustration or illustrated map to capture memories (of a special holiday, places you've lived, or things that have happened).
You can find out more about my commissions process on my website at www.coostie.co.uk/commissions
Many people's first introduction to Berwick-upon-Tweed is passing over the Royal Border Bridge when taking the train from London to Edinburgh. The Royal Border Bridge itself gives you an excellent view of Berwick's other two bridges - the 'Old' bridge - built at the behest of James I - and the 'New' Bridge - built almost 300 years later. All three bridges are architecturally distinct and represented the peak of engineering and technology at the times they were built.
This print features detailed pen and ink illustrations of elements of the three bridges, along with a hand-written name label and the date that the bridges were opened to the public.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Berwick-upon-Tweed, near the English/Scottish border, is famous for its three bridges, which span the River Tweed: the Old Berwick Bridge (1624), the Royal Border Bridge (1850) and the 'New' Royal Tweed Bridge (1928). This A4-sized Art Print features pen and ink illustrations of these three bridges, each labelled in a hand-written, loose calligraphic style with it's name and the date it was opened. The illustrations are coloured in a dark grey tone, reflecting the colours of the river against a watercolour paper textured background.
Printed in the UK on eco-friendly, high-quality eucalyptus paper, it's a perfect gift for fans of architecture, or those who love England's most northerly town.
Free P&P on all UK orders.
