I`m fascinated by fossils and anything pre-historic! This image of a skeleton fish made such a good subject, that it has featured in a couple of linocuts, but this is the original drawing which I loved.

Full description
This subtle and colourful drawing was made using Caran D`ache Luminence pencils on A3 size heavyweight cartridge paper.
The image shows the skeleton of a fossilised fish on a fragmented surface that is covered with the remains of shells and other fossil forms. Colours range from turquoise, soft orange and olive green, with highlights picked out in violet.
An ideal gift for someone who is fascinated with fossils.
This is an original drawing and although the pigments used are light fast, it should not be hung in bright sunlight.
It comes packed flat with a backing board and cellophane as protection, and boxed for shipping.
