I love patchwork quilts and want everyone to have the opportunity to have one made to a style they love.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Designed especially for you, one of my patchwork denim rag quilts made from pre-loved jeans will look fantastic decorating a bed or sofa. They are robust enough to be used as floor mats too.
Each is a one-off design, combining fabric from upcycled denim or canvas jeans with a cotton fabric of your choice. I can also include some of your own upcycled clothes making this a special keepsake or memory quilt - ask for more information.
These are rag quilts - where one side has a ragged fringe and the otherside is flat - see photos. The photos show some quilts I've already made in this style - these are just examples and the options are endless.
SIZE:
Square - approx 90 by 90 cm or 36 by 36 inches
After ordering, I'll email you a simple questionaire about the theme and colours you want. Once I have had this back, I will send you some mock-ups of my intended design.
It usually takes 2-3 weeks to make the quilt once we have agreed the design.
I sandwich squares of denim and cotton fabric with a soft wadding in between, before machine sewing them together and hand cutting the fringed seams. The edge is then bound and finished by hand, and the whole thing popped in the wash to enhance the ragged effect.
I will send an update when it is completed and shipped. Cancellations can be made for a full refund at any stage.
CARE: Can be machine washed and tumble dried - it will get softer with each wash.
