A gorgeous display piece either for Valentine’s Day, or a lovely anniversary gift.
Featuring a handmade primitive style heart, displayed together with a lovely antique World War 1, ‘Ever Thine’, postcard. You can choose to display them separately or tied together.
The postcards were made in France for World War 1 soldiers to send home to their sweethearts. They were known as WW1 silks, and were embroidered.
The heart is hand painted, and decorated with antique lace and pearl button, finished with a jute tied bow. The heart can be hung by its rusty wire hanger. The ends of the wire have been coiled to add an extra decorative feature at the front.
The postcard has not been written on, so you can add your own message on the back if you so wish..
Please note the antique lace may have imperfections commensurate with its age, but will only add to the charm of the piece. Please do not purchase if you like your antique lace to be perfect.
