Full description
This Sterling Silver tie clip has a beautiful organic beauty to it. The hammered pattern is inspired by the textures seen in the slate cliffs on Cornish beaches and sparkles in the light beautifully!
The slide measures aprox 5cm wide and 0.4 cm tall. The front of the clip has been textured with a hammer in a simple, but effective, cross hatch pattern. Each strike of the hammer is by hand and each line texture catches the light so beautifully! The back of the clip has a brushed texture applied to it. It's the lovely lustre of each of the hammer lines catching the light that makes this a timeless, contemporary piece that's so eye catching and will add that something extra to any tie suit combination! The back of this clip can also be personalised with hand stamped initials to make it a truly personal, one of a kind gift.
Hand stamping is created by the blow of a hammer on steel letter and number punches. It s not as precise as engraving and so irregularities and variations in the text are to be expected. Letters may not always be perfectly aligned and some letters may strike deeper than others. This is part of the charm of these designs and makes your jewellery uniquely yours.
