This is a scene from my local walking spot- a beautiful nature reserve in Staffordshire. The lake is just magical when frozen over, and I have tried to capture the icy surface of the water by using wax resist.

An original, unframed, unmounted watercolour painting of a frozen lake at a nature reserve in Staffordshire. The painting is also embellished with other media such as pastel to bring the picture to life!
