I wanted to create an illustration which captures the spirit of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland, so I focused on creating ink drawings of 12 landmarks with a story to tell about the place and then added a splash of digital colour to give a fresh, modern feel.
From the Victorian lighthouse to the re-purposed Grade II-listed former public toilet, parts of the town’s Elizabethan fortifications, including the Bell Tower, and the earthen ramparts, as well as a Russian cannon, trophy of the Crimean War, the illustrations included in this art print hopefully give you a flavour of what makes the town so unique! I include a small card with each print that lists each landmark and why it is interesting.

The map features 12 iconic landmarks of the town, each hand-drawn in black ink and combined with a bright pop of colour for a modern twist and creating a bespoke colour palette that represents the town. Perfect as a unique gift or holiday keepsake.
Includes an information card with some interesting facts about each of the landmarks.
Printed in the UK on 350gsm eucalyptus paper and thoughtfully packaged without any plastic for a sustainable touch, and with free UK shipping. Frame not included.
