A tree of life with amethyst gem chips for those of you that want even more colour.
This 130 mm diameter suncatcher has 24 branches filled with delicate amethyst gem chips , which is more than my usual 16 branch trees. The back panel is made from irridised clear glass over a streaky green blue base.
The copper wire tree is hand twisted and filled with very delicate amethyst chips.
The edge of the panel is finished in a traditional lead channel and the tree hangs from a nylon cord loop.
