Full description
I've used a flecked, slightly less textured clay for this higher sided bowl and carved a bit of texture into the sides. Also, love the toasty colour it comes out as when it's fired. A new glaze, dark in the flatter areas, greeny blue where it sits in the carved areas. I also love having the bottom edge of the clay exposed...great to get the feel of the clay. Perfect as a serving dish or for salad.
Fired in a kiln at a stoneware temperature (c1200 degrees) makes it durable and each one comes out of the kiln looking slightly different.

The glaze is lead free and food safe. You can, in theory, put it in the dishwasher but due to its size, probably better to hand wash.
