I'm a flower grower florist, working with my home grown flowers for weddings.
I started pressing flowers as the little petals and trimmings from when I'm making wedding florals made me sad; I hate seeing flowers go to waste even if they do make colourful compost! This way they get appreciated and have a life of their own.
Here's a tip: Look at both sides of the flowers before you glue them down...the backs are surprisingly appealing!

I've designed this kit so you can have a go at card making using pressed flowers in your own home and spend some time being creative in an easy way.
This kit enables you make 4 greetings cards and 2 gift tags, using pressed flowers. The flowers have been carefully selected from my flowers grown in my cutting garden and pressed over the last spring, summer and autumn. A little snapshot of the Cumbrian year!
Your card making kit includes: 4 blank white greetings cards with specially matching lined white envelopes, 2 gift (parcel) tags and an assortment of pressed flowers and foliage in a mix of colours.
Extra supplies you will need but are not included are: scissors, white PVA glue (for example Modge Podge Matt but any white PVA will do!), and a glue applicator (eg thin paint brush or a cocktail stick).
The kit is supplied in an A4 glassine envelope, with a piece of good quality A4 paper so if you have spare flowers you can make an extra picture!
Delivery is UK only, due to Brexit rules on plant material.
Delivery is included in the price and your kit will be posted first class Royal Mail, on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday (these are the hours of our local post office)
