Full description

The large central glass bead would have been made in or around Venice between about 1880 and 1920, then exported to Africa to be used as currency. As such, these beads bear the scars of their travels in the form of small chips to the glass but these are just part of their history and don't take away from their beauty - please judge from the photos.

There are two small trade beads and two 'lost wax' brass beads from Ghana. These were made in individual moulds which will have been broken to release the finished beads.

Size: This bracelet can be opened out to about 8" when putting on and then the ends can be tucked under or left dangling.

Presentation: Your bracelet will be sent in a presentation bag ready to give to someone special (or to keep for yourself ).

Gifts: I can send to another address and include a handwritten message if requested.

Postage: I can usually post within 24 hours and will send first class and signed for.
