Inspiration
I'm a lover of the Corvid family of birds. I would eventually like to paint or draw one of each of them. This is my 'Rook' drawn with chunky pastels. I call it 'Cinderella Rookefella' as he looks like he's quite a dandy all puffed up in his feathery cloak ready to go to the ball!
I often see rooks strutting about just like this looking for grubs in the grass at a golf course nearby where I live. Not far from this is an ancient church with a huge rookery in the trees around it. I think this is probably where these particular ones are from.
