These ceramic Nature Gaurdian wall pieces have been inspired from s recurring theme that runs throughout all of my work, conveying a sense of often fragile balsnce between humankind, naturre, Folklore and Mythology, connected to the rythmn of the seasons and the time of year.
Leaving the natural edge of the clay, suggests the natural beauty of repeated lines, shapes and extures found in the natural landscape also a feeling of an ancient artifact that has once been part of something larger.
This particular 'fragment' has a suggestion of Spring and the beginnings of warmer weather, incorporating the imprint of a real Pimula leaf, hand modelled Primula flower and Butterfly. Other shapes and textures reminiscent of pollen, seeds and new growth.
This nature inspired wall piece can stand alone, indoors or outdoors, or can look effective when incorporated into a plant covered wall such as ivy or honeysuckle,
