This piece was made for the online exhibition Honouring the Longest Night. I chose to show the sun sleeping or just waking at the turn of the year. There is a figure in the shape of a shooting star decorated with crystal glass. She is holding a Rowan twig which is painted and has glass leaf shaped beads attached. The hare at the top is the colour of the night and is leaping over the sun.
