Full description

An old cake server with a floral handle and a big flat spoon part, which I've hand stamped with a traditional blessing poem:

"May your troubles be less

and your blessings be more

And nothing but HAPPINESS

come through your door"

A lovely gift for a housewarming or wedding.

You will receive the item shown in the photos. The spoon is a generous 25cm long; it's most likely Victorian and has clearly seen many, many years' use and polishing. In fact it's lost pretty much all of its original silver plating so now it's a slightly dull brassy colour. It's still perfectly useable or could be framed, displayed or used as a photo prop. But if 'new and shiny' is your aesthetic then you're probably looking at the wrong spoon.

I have lots more spoons in the box labelled 'battered but fabulous' and I love doing commissions for special occasions, so if you have a particular quote in mind or would like a personalised version of this, or a different size or shape of spoon, or a message in SHOUTY BLOCK CAPITALS, just get in touch and I'll see what I can do for you!
