Aventurine is a form of Chalcedony Quartz containing grains of colour-imparting minerals.
It is most commonly found in green, but also in orange, yellow, brown, and, as in this case, blue.
Blue Aventurine has been associated with emotional balance, inner strength and confidence.
It is associated with the Throat Chakra and self-expression.
The blue colour comes from inclusions of the mineral dumortierite.

Full description
The centrepiece for this necklace is an 13x18mm oval Blue Aventurine pendant topped with a 4mm Grey Agate and 7mm Tibetan silver coin bead.
The body of the necklace is made of 6mm and 4mm Blue Aventurine beads in gorgeous shades of pale-to-dark. smoky blues.
A scattering of 6mm and 4mm frosted grey Agate add a hint of mystery, and 7mm Tibetan-style silver coin beads and 4mm lantern beads add shine.
These are nickel and lead free.
I have finished the necklace with an easy fastening Tibetan rose toggle clasp which is also nickel and lead free.
This necklace measures approximately 16.5 inches (42cm), excluding the pendant, which is 1.5 inches (3.5cm) long
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
