My work is inspired by travel and experiencing different cultures. Having visited Egypt on several occasions I became captivated by the ageing sun baked buildings and the intensity in the mosaics and painted tombs in The Valley Of The Kings in Luxhor.

Full description
Multicoloured geometric design using hand painted papers with embossed metal leaf. A unique pair of delicate stud earrings mounted in a silver plated cup that is 12 mm in diameter. The surface of the paper is lacquered to protect it from damage which adds a gentle sheen. The paper is surfaced using pigments mixed with acrylic adding a textured, distressed, layered effect almost like aged paint.
