Full description
These square earrings are inspired by Scandinavian folk art design and are made from hand dyed anodised aluminium. I dye the aluminium a deep teal colour and print the starburst pattern on to the metal, the dye is made permanent through heat. I cut the square shape with a piercing saw and round the edges to give a contemporary feel. The silver rod is also made from aluminium and is also cut out using a saw and attached to the hook and square with sterling silver jump rings. The squares measure 15mm x 15mm and the rod measures 15mm in length. Altogether the earrings have a drop of approximately 32mm.
The ear hooks are sterling silver
