Hand-built Mini Pottery Cornish Engine House.
Hand built using Staffordshire clay. Glazed in a satin white glaze and fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. The engine house comes with a tea light. Every one unique - the house you receive may differ slightly from the house in the picture. My potter's mark is on the back.
Inspired by the engine house at Kilifreth Tin Mine later known as Wheal Busy. There has been mining Cornwall since 16th century; producing copper, tin and arsenic. This engine house is based upon a design built in 1892.
Dimensions (all measurements are approx):
Height: 10.5m
Width: 7cm
Made with lead free glazes. As with all candles - never leave unattended or burn within reach of children or animals.
