Zero waste - although I try hard to cut my fabric for my larger makes economically, I still have little offcuts. With my scrap basket overflowing, I wanted to put some of these to good use.

Full description
A beautiful hand made oak tree leaf decoration to add a touch of greenery to your home, or to give to someone special. I think this would be a superb gift for a grandparent as the button is likely from a "Grandad cardigan", or a thoughtful present for a nature lover of any age.
Presented on a simple craft card and sent in a sturdy cardboard box to protect the button, and I can post directly on your behalf with a little note from you - it fits through a letterbox.
I have made 3 of these leaves, each is slightly different and includes a vintage leather button - although this can be swopped out for a wooden or plastic button on request. This listing is for the actual leaf in the pictures, see my other listings for the other two.
Approx size 4 inches for the leaf, with the cord it is 7 inches.
Crafted from a handmade patchwork of gorgeous green prints - including offcuts from my patchwork quilts, with free-motion embroidery in variagated thread. Reversing to a plain green fabric that really show off the leaf veins in the variagated thread. Can be displayed either way.
Embellished with a vintage leather button - upcycled from my button box collection - to represent an acorn, and with a red faux suede cord for hanging.
