Moss agate runs from sage green to a deep forest green and from semi-opaque to semi-translucent. Cloudy swirls of these varying greens seem to have tiny filaments of moss trapped inside.
Wood lace agate is also known as petrified wood. It forms when the decaying cells of a tree are gradually replaced by sediments from mineral-rich water, over hundreds of years forming a stone mould of the original wood.
Both stones have a strong visual connection with nature
