Full description
Handmade leather bookmark, approx. 20cm x 6cm.
Fantastic leather quality, using undyed 1mm Grade AAA vegetable tanned leather to create unique and vibrant colours, patterns and shapes using the marbling technique.
Once leather has dried, it has been polished using two layers of gloss finishing coat and a further coat of beeswax to protect the leather and enhance shine.
The bookmark edges are burnished to take away any rough edges and provide a smooth finish.
A unique handmade product that will last, it would make an ideal birthday or Christmas present for the booklover in your life.
This bookmark is unbacked, therefore, because leather is a natural product, the backing colour/texture of the leather may be uneven. There may also be bleed through from the paint to the underside of the leather which has occurred during the marbling process. Photos provided, bleed is minimal, and it does not detract from the product’s finish.
