Profits will be donated to Toybox, a charity that works with street children across the globe to give them a better quality of life. The amount donated will be stated on the item.
I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £257.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £237.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 8/11/24.

Full description
Some pretty 7mm round freshwater pearls in natural colours: light pink with a slight hue of lavender. The pearls are good quality (graded AAplus by a reputable pearl dealer), smooth with a few minor marks, mainly round with some being just slightly off spherical. See photos for more detail, but please be aware that there might be some variance in how your monitor shows the colours.
I have strung these pearls on silk: the traditional medium, and have knotted between each pearl, an old-fashioned technique that ensures a good drape and also security in the unlikely event that the silk breaks.
I have finished the necklace with sterling silver findings: a tiny bead, French wire (gimp) and a trigger clasp.
The necklace is 48cms (18.9 ins) long.
The necklace will be sent Special Delivery, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard postage box.
WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £8 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.
