On a holiday in Tuscany, I caught site of this door and rather liked the way spray of bright flowers in the foreground is juxtaposed with the lovely old sun-beaten door in the background. I had to have a go at depicting it in oil, but all that old brickwork and the weather-beaten wood proved to be quite challenging!
