We took a walk down the River Blyth at Southwold and soon found ourselves at the Harbour, in amongst plenty of aging boats, ramshackle sheds and old machinery. Always a sucker for this kind of thing, I knew this boat would make a good painting with its faded splendour a reminder of better boating days. Maybe it will be back on the water one day...
