This shop only sells in the UK. I print cards onto a sustainable English acid free, archival watercolour paper, prepared for digital print on both sides, so I can print a custom greeting inside; although cards are blank inside unless you request printed text inside. They are packed in compostable clear bags. Prints are on digital fine art papers. I specialise in hand sewing silk and natural fibres for apparel. I often re-use packaging to send you your orders.

I made a simple working sketch of my Christmas Cactus plant, not in bloom, during the summer of 2020 from a challenge by another artist to draw a houseplant "blind" which means drawing without looking at the paper, just the plant. I then made a drawing using pencils and oil pastels on some Somerset black paper, which St Cuthberts Mill started making again around that time. Hence the title Cactus on Black. The plant forgot to make some pink blooms at Christmas 2020.

Drawing of a Christmas Cactus without pink flowers that bloom around Christmas time as I drew it in the summer of 2020. I made a quick pencil sketch during a challenge from another artist to draw a houseplant "blind" which means without looking at the paper, just at the plant while drawing. I then drew it with pencil and oil pastel onto 280 gsm Somerset black paper.
I scanned it myself to produce A6 folded cards, £3 each in a separate listing, and giclee prints, £35 each, print limit 25. There are 10 prints in stock and one framed original artwork for £180.
The framed original is in a 29 x 29 cm white square frame. Ask for custom listing.
One of the print photos shows the Christmas cactus with pink blooms around Christmas time, but the drawing was made in summer when there are no blooms on the plant, just leaves. It is actually a succulent rather than a true cactus plant.
