Full description
Our cheeky stained glass robin will hang proudly on your Christmas Tree or in a space where the light will catch it. We have used red Sea Glass for his breast and Baroque glass for his head and wings which gives a lovely streaky feathered appearance which may vary slightly with each robin. Our robin is entirely hand-made using the Tiffany method of stained glass making. Each piece of glass is cut by hand and shaped using a grinder. The edges of the glass are wrapped in a copper foil tape which is burnished to the glass. We then solder the glass pieces together using a fine solder bead. The finished robin is polished and we attach a hand-tied loop so he is ready to hang in your chosen spot.
