We have a very pampered flock of hens here at Bramble Cottage. One of which is a beautiful Bluebell called Wednesday, her pal is called Morticia . You can probably guess the theme here.
I love using chunky pastels and thought it the perfect medium to capture the soft texture of her feathers. My chickens often feature in my artwork. They are such lovely models. Although I usually work from photos I have taken, as its difficult to get them to stand still!
