At Bramble Cottage we have a lot of mole hills! which probably means we have a lot of Moles. Most of the time they only appear in our paddock so we don't mind them too much. It means we have very healthy soil with lots of worms.
This painting has a special place in my heart as I painted it in memory of our little Cocker Spaniel Barney who we lost in 2023. One of his favourite pastimes was digging in mole hills. He rarely caught one but that didn't stop him trying!
