we love being in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, we collect foliage on our dog walks or from our own gardens, to be able to capture the countryside in a permanent way is fantastic. we take such care when hand pressing th foliage and adding the colour to the imprint to permanently memorialise our finds.

Full description
This handmade ceramic coaster has been created from earthenware clay which is rolled by hand. The word 'Family' and hedgerow flowers have been pressed into the clay, which is then under glazed and kiln fired.
After removing it from the kiln it is glazed again, this time picking out the detail with delicate pink and white glazes and fired again at 1240 deg. c. The process takes around 3 weeks. The coaster is then backed with cork making it suitable to use as a coaster or small trivet to fit a teapot, or it can be displayed on an easel. (Available to add to your order)
