Inspired by the enchanting tale of the mermaid of Zennor. There are different versions of this story but they all involve a beautiful lady who entrances Mathy Trewhella. Mathy leaves the church with the mysterious lady and is never seen again.
One day, a ship lay anchor and a mermaid surfaces and asks the captain to move his ship as it is blocking her door and Mathy is stuck inside!
It is easy to see why Cornwall so often inspires my makes!
