Full description
I wanted to combine a number of interests in to one piece. The result is this Halloween, hand embroidered Day of the Dead skeletal bear hanging decoration.
The felt bear measures 27cm tall, 14cm at its widest point and about 3cm deep as he is lightly padded. I have added a length of decorative ribbon so it can be hung up.
I designed the bear pattern shape, used embroidery stitches to decorate it, also beads, sequins and mounted stones, added a ribbon and bead flower crown, and sewed a rib cage and heart in place.
This piece is totally unique and handmade. Perfect for Halloween or, for some people Halloween lasts all year.
£1 coin is shown for scale.
This item will be sent 2nd class. Packaging will be practical/upcycled rather than pretty. I can usually post the next working day.
