I’ve been making these for some time now as it’s a great way to display models with a modern almost engineered look.
These take less dusting and won’t get saggy undercarriage!

This Airfix Supermarine Spitfire vb in 1/72 scale is mounted in a 30cm black frame.
This particular model is an older 70’s kit and has the legendary invasion stripes which allied aircraft wore on D day as to clearly identify them to other allied troops.
