The Model Stop

I can do it if I can get the frame to fit the kit!

Tired of making models and ending up with little space to display them, gathering dust and watching their undercarriage slowly give way I decided to look for another way to display plastic model kits.

These are easier to clean, move around and keep away from small fingers!

I decided to build a few of my favourites and posted them on social media which created lots of interest.

I now have a dedicated Facebook and Instagram account for The Model Stop which I post up my latest builds. I use the Story function for ideas and shares etc. Social media updating is nearly a full time job!

I work from home in my spare time building these in my small garage workshop, usually completing 1-2 week.
When I’m not answering messages online or actually working on the models I’m looking for new kits and decals for a certain aircraft.

I usually make these to order and can add any info/ideas that you the customer may have to each frame making it a completely unique item.
Here I have listed several of my more popular items or items that are unusual or eye catching.
