My best friend requested a pair of snail earrings so I made it my mission to make her some and wondered if others might like some snail earrings too.

Full description

A bespoke pair of turquoise and ivory swirly snail lampwork earrings - a unique gift for somebody who loves the great outdoors.

The lampwork snail beads start life as simple glass rods that I melt in the flame and onto mandrels. I then add layers of glass and continue to melt and shape in the flame. Please note the back of the snail beads have a different pattern - see picture 5.

All the jewellery findings (handmade headpins and earring wires) are solid Sterling Silver. The dangle earring wires are handmade from 0.8mm Sterling Silver wire. Please note that due to the thickness of the wire I am unable to stamp them with the 925 Sterling Silver mark.

COE 104 glass has been used to create the lampwork beads.

The lampwork beads have been kiln annealed to relieve internal stresses that may have formed during the melting process and thus increase the overall durability and strength. However, please note that whilst the beads have been kiln annealed they can still be delicate due to the nature of glass.

Most items will be sent via 2nd Class unless stated otherwise. If you require an urgent delivery, please let me know and I can send it via an alternative mail service at an additional cost.

Please note that the colour may vary slightly from the picture due to lighting.

At present, I am currently shipping within the UK. However, if you require shipping outside the UK please contact me and I will have a look into postage costs.
