A very British pastime is afternoon tea.
What better way to welcome someone to their new home than with beautiful decorative china, a cup of tea and a scrumptuous cup cake. This floral design comes from one of my hand-painted designs for fashion; the pink and lilac swirling flowers make a great decorative pattern. The cup, saucer and cup cake are drawn in Illustrator then parts are cut from the pattern in Photoshop, or shaded with ombre colours. The floral design appears on the corners to frame this pretty image and a little sparkle is added with lilac glass gems. The cup is hand-cut and set in relief on the saucer. A special card to keep on show for a while for all your visitors to see!
