Inspired by the gestural paint strokes found in abstract expressionism this vase is an artistic addition to any interior. The matt exterior is covered in a yellow slip splattered with a dark blue slip contrasting with a rich luminous blue interior glaze. I enjoy the contrast between the matt exterior and satin interior as well as the abstract painted surface with the simplicity of the form of the vase.
