I love finding ways to use up leftover scraps of fabric and have been making little birds for a few years. One of my customers asked if I could make her some squirrels in a similar style, so I put on my thinking cap and came up with this design. The tails proved quite tricky, but I hope I've managed to produce something suitably squirrel-ish!

Full description
A set of two lightly padded hanging squirrels made from Liberty fabric in shades of mustard and dark blue, which can be used as a hanging decoration, gift tag or simply to cheer up your favourite notice board or shelf.
Each squirrel has been created from odds and ends of leftover Tana Lawn Capel (mustard) and Camilla (navy) floral fabrics and measures approximately 10cm from tail to toe. Each one is double sided and made from two different co-ordinating patterns which have been cut out by hand. They contain a layer of polyester wadding to create a padded effect and have a hanging loop made from garden twine.
The squirrels are packaged in biodegradable cellophane packaging which is recyclable and compostable.
