I belong to a postcard club and when the theme was ‘January Blues’, I created the blue winter card and it snowballed from there. I sent my Mum a selection and they are now on show around the house and one friend has framed hers. A fun way to use up scraps and bring joy to someone you know.

Full description
This set of 4 seasonal postcards is created from scraps of fabric, layered onto a piece of fabric with a fleece interfaced backing and stitched in place to give a quilted feel. Depending on the season the printed trees have embroidered leaves and blossom in colonial knots and flowers stitched in daisy and straight stitch. All postcards have embroidered birds in the sky.
Backed with a piece of good quality card to write your message on and the whole piece is held together with a machine zigzag stitch. A hand made envelope made from the same card complete the look.
Perfect gift to give to someone or send a card to someone each season. They will be cherished and can be framed or placed in an album. Made completely from scraps, each set is unique.
Approx Dimensions 6x4 inches. Envelopes have double sided tape for closure. You may wish to add some sticky tape for extra security. If nothing but words are added a postcard and envelope can be posted 1st or 2nd letter post.
